Hier ist ein längerer Aufenhalt auf dem Campingplatz oder in der Karpfenschänke möglich. Für Kinder und Freizeitbeschäftigung ist das Südufer ideal. Dort befinden sich Badestrand, Zeltplatz, Grillplatz und ein Spielplatz mit Volleyballfeld. Um die nähere Umgebung zu erkunden, kann man vor Ort Fahrräder ausleihen. Ein mögliches Ziel könnte die Waldschule Kleinsee sein.
